Hi everyone (especially Harro),
I have been involved in the PPI for like 7 weeks now I think. I still haven’t made a buck to be honest. I had someone on my MSN who helped me out a lot. Basically the thing he was doing was, sign me up using his affiliate id, teach me how to do these things and then just let me go. But, what happened: he suddenly got a hardcore busy life and forgot all about me, so I lost weeks and weeks and didn’t made a buck.

The things we did was:
• First I signed up at waverevenue
• He gave me cracked software (darkmailer + relay)
• We made free accounts at free hosting sites, made a page where it forces the user to download the .exe file
• Send mass mails to see where it goes, it all went mostly in the spam

What we didn’t do:
• I don’t really know what he did in the HTML page, because its all hardcore not-normal-basic HTML
• I don’t have a good mailing list, have one, but it really blows (mostly the emails are invalid)
• I checked out some posts at BHW to learn more about using proxies, but it never really worked

The last time I spoke to him, he told me to get:
• A SMTP host
• Mailing list
• PPI products

OK now the questions part (I told you I’m going to love this forum):
1. Is it necessary to have a SMTP host?
o If yes, do you know a good one I can buy SMTP hosting from?
2. Do you use mailing lists, or some other techniques to “give” the people your PPI-program?
Like what kind of program do you promote, what is better, what website do you recommend, do you convert the files into .exe files?
3. Do you use proxy?
4. What softwares are good for this kind of marketing?

Sorry, for the loads of nb questions. I hope you get the time to reply on this post.

1. Theres many free SMTP hosts but such as mailing like this need to be pretty damn anonymous so id say you pay for what you get and direct mailing is out of the question.

2. I never really use email as it converts bad websites are better and software on p2p networks.

3. Proxy for mailing id say is a YES YES as mailing is bad unless they are optin

4. Darkmailer is good for mailing and is on torrents everywhere.

Thanks for the reply bro. I guess I will have to learn the “software download” method, to make anything at all.

The bigger money is in file sharing, or things like screensavers and promoting via download sites or warez sites
