So guys here I'm again with some help for you, today I'll teach how easy is to make your torrents don't be downloaded by shit countries that PPI don't pay.

The good: you maximize speed, as all your bandwidth goes to PCs that really make you money.
The bad: you will have much less seeds than normal.

Back to tutorial it's pretty easy to do (you need to own a remote connection seedbox, if not using your PC):
First of all check what countries you don't want in this site: http://www. countryipblocks. net (remove spaces) make sure you checked the option "IP Range" in the top of the country list.
After that Click on "Choose Countries" and a list will appear for you. Save that list in a new notepad file.
Save the file as ipfilter.dat and drop that file in %appdata%/utorrent (documents and settings/*youruser*/application data/uTorrent)
Go to uTorrent click on Options > Preferences > Advanced and then make sure that ipfilter.enable is "true".

And you are done! now all that people freaking ur bandwidth and upload speed will be ripped off automatictly!

i thought about this for trying to beat fake seeds poising my torrents but basically once you have a few more seeds the ipfilter becomes ineffective anyway because everyone else in the decent countrys you target wil just spread it to lesser countrys will it not?

good idea though i need something more effective for blocking fake fuckers, maybe considering adding some sort of payload that blocks shity ranges or sumthing

ph3d, actually i own a seedbox with 100mbps upload (11mb/s speed). I had ALOT of problem with poland ppl coz its not a paying country so I filtered them.. my effective installs grew up. Why? Because my 11mbps are going to almost every paid country.. it doesnt matter if other ppl are seeding for Polaks, the problem is my upload speed because its faster than everyone upload speed.

nice tutorial. Ive followed instructions and have us only but still seeing the saudi flag and canada flags coming up in utorrent under peers. Any idea why?

maybe not all country ip ranges are listed there so some country ip range can download it

greg, its because the site doesnt support all ip ranges but almost all. some ips arent blocked but i think its not a real problem if 80-90% are US ppl

I actually think this is quite stupid to do cuz you need as much peers as you can get when you just uploaded them. However, I have three seedboxes so I don't really have to worry about bandwith .
