Ppl, I'm not accusing ppiengineer, It could happen to anyone (or not?) I'm just saying that something doesn't fit in because:
1. WTF is he spreading, CIA stuff? And how long is he doing this? One month, two maybe? I've seen on TPB users sharing a lot of pirated software for years and their account is still up. 2. Spreading software which trigger AV programs is actually helping software industry because the users will have to choose if they will ignore the AV warning or will buy the original piece of crap, sorry, software. They will learn that there's a price to pay if they want pirated software. PPIengineer could use this in his defence, btw. 3. The only damage PPI in doing is to p2p. Period. |

Peerguardian is a kernel level IP-blocking firewall. Basically, anytime a connection is made, Peerguardian will check the ip your connecting to against a blacklist, and if it matches, block the connection.

element94, PeerGuardian is constantly updating a list of "dangerous" IPs, like governmental organizations or anti-p2p agencies and blocks them so they can't see you sharing.
