When I watch TV I don't ask for the ads to come on, but they do regardless, and are just as annoying. How are we any different from advertisers with 'real' jobs as you deem them?

It's adware. It doesn't 'disable' anyone's computer. Most people who have it don't even realize they have it because it doesn't affect their computer experience other then changing the ads they see on the websites they already to go. The people who are on the receiving end of this are already commiting crimes by downloading illegaly pirated software, games, movies, and music. what THEY do directly affects somebody's profits, so how come you're not out there yelling at them?

So explain to me what an honest living is? Using your logic, anyone who does work that harms anyone else in any way doesn't qualify as an honest living. Please rally everyone you know and we'll go try to shut down all the fast food joints in the entire country for feeding people poison. Just think for a moment how you'd feel if you created something popular (for profit) and it got uploaded to a torrent site?
