Is Screensaver Submission effective for PPI?

no, its not, i have a rather large screensaver site that has 100% adware spyware blahblah free buttons on all the other sites (HA! as if it is, they just cant find it!) and it makes CRAP, most installs are from indonesia... LAME!

How about if I distribute it or submit it to screensaver/software directories? Have you tried that one?

That was what i have been thinking, to submit screansaver and small apps to software directories.. but i the thing is, if i could only find those directories that don't scan, or need to approve your app. and stuff.

i have submitted somewhere from 600-1k files (i lost count, i give up) to every site in Software Submission - Software Advertising - Software Promotion - Software Marketing - Software Distribution

Buy a copy of Xrumer and spam the hell on every forum.

Directory Submission kinda suck...

What about other very popular files, like the download.com top 10. What if you were to bind those and re-upload with gsa or promo?

Also, since these files are downloaded off one of your websites, is there legality issues you should deal with or should junk domain registration cover your tracks well enough?
