I searched but could not find how to bind pictures. Can we bind pictures?
If someone were to click on a picture on a website, would that cause the program to install? I would like to place a .jpg on my site and write something like "click here to enlarge the photo". Once they click to enlarge the photo, the exe program would install. |

If you bind any other file type with a payload .exe, the output would be either the same as the other file type, or an .exe as the payload. If it's a JPG, it will be opened with "Windows FAX and Document Viewer", which does not let your bundled payload pass through, and if it's an .exe, people will generally not open .exe's in order to view an image...
However, if you setup a site that requires a fake plugin (which is your payload exe) as Troph said in order to view an image, then people would more likely download and run it. This technique is also known to be used for videos, where a fake codec is required in order to play the video. |

So that would mean that I would upload the payload exe onto my server. And each time someone would click to download the "plugin" it would come from my server (hosting server, go*daddy).....right?
Won't that get me in trouble with god*addy? |
